Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It establishes Shiva (Pati) as the absolute Lord governing not only beings but the entire cosmic structure—worlds, universes, time, and directional powers—inviting devotion rooted in surrender to His supreme sovereignty.
The Linga is revered as the sign of the all-pervading Lord who transcends yet supports the cosmos; meditating on Shiva as Adhīśvara makes Saguna worship (form, mantra, ritual) a gateway to realizing His Nirguna supremacy beyond the cosmic ‘eggs’ and their coverings.
A focused Shiva-dhyana is implied: chant the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while contemplating Shiva as the ruler of time (months) and space (directions), offering the universe itself in inner worship; Tripuṇḍra and Rudrākṣa may be worn as supports for this steady remembrance.
