The verse highlights that bondage and suffering end primarily through prasāda—divine grace—here specifically of the Devī as Śiva’s Śakti, indicating liberation is not merely self-effort but the Lord’s compassionate power removing affliction.
In Śaiva practice, worship of Saguna Shiva through the Liṅga is inseparable from reverence to Śakti; this verse supports the Purāṇic view that grace flows through devoted worship, softening karmic constraints and restoring well-being.
A practical takeaway is bhakti with prayer for prasāda—regular Liṅga-pūjā with Panchākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and remembrance of Devī as Śivaśakti, seeking release from duḥkha and inner restraint.
