देवस्तुतिः—नन्दिकेश्वरविज्ञप्तिः—शम्भोः समाधेः उत्थानम्

सुखमिच्छतु चेत्प्राज्ञो विधिवद्विषयांस्त्यजेत् । विषवद्विषयानाहुर्विषयैर्यैर्निहन्यते
sukhamicchatu cetprājño vidhivadviṣayāṃstyajet | viṣavadviṣayānāhurviṣayairyairnihanyate
যদি কোনো প্ৰাজ্ঞ স্থায়ী সুখ সঁচাকৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁ বিধিপূৰ্বক ইন্দ্ৰিয়-বিষয় ত্যাগ কৰিব। ঋষিসকলে কয়—বিষয় বিষৰ দৰে; সেই বিষয়তেই জীৱ বিনষ্ট হয়।
