It presents dharma in a Shaiva household: even a revered deva like Gaṇeśa remains established in auspiciousness by honoring parental guidance—implying that grace (anugraha) and lasting well-being arise from humility, right conduct, and alignment with Śiva–Śakti’s will.
By highlighting Gaṇeśa’s life under the direction of his divine parents, the verse points to Saguna Śiva (with form and attributes) as the benevolent head of the cosmic family; devotion to Śiva (often through the Liṅga) is framed as living in accordance with His order (ājñā) and Śakti’s nurturing guidance.
A practical takeaway is daily Gaṇeśa and Śiva remembrance before undertakings—begin with a simple invocation such as “Om Gaṁ Gaṇapataye Namaḥ” followed by the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating obedience, steadiness, and auspicious intention.
