It emphasizes that truly dharmic action, when aligned with Shiva’s will, gains unshakable divine sanction—steadfastness (niścaya) in what is rightly done becomes a spiritual discipline leading the devotee toward Shiva’s grace.
Saguna Shiva is the Lord who guides, approves, and protects the devotee’s righteous vow; in Linga-worship, this translates into keeping one’s vrata and pūjā method steady once consecrated, treating Shiva’s acceptance as final and not subject to worldly alteration.
Maintain firmness in a Shiva-vrata once undertaken—regular japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a steady daily pūjā routine, without wavering or changing it out of doubt or external pressure.
