सोमो मीढ्वान्पवते गातुवित्तम ऋषिर्विप्रो विचक्षणः । त्वं कविरभवो देववीतम आ सूर्यं रोहयो दिवि ॥
Transliteration
sómō mīḍhvā́n pavate gātuvít-tamaḥ ṛ́ṣir vípro vi-cákṣaṇaḥ | tváṃ kavír abhavo deva-vī́tamaḥ ā́ sū́ryaṃ rohayo diví ||
Translation
সোম, দানশীল, প্ৰবাহিত হয়—পথ-অন্বেষণত সৰ্বোত্তম; ঋষি, বিপ্ৰ, সুদূরদৰ্শী। তুমি কবি হৈ উঠিলা, দেৱসকলৰ বাবে অতি প্ৰিয়; তুমি দিৱ্য আকাশত সূৰ্যক আৰোহণ কৰোৱা।
