Sukta 8.46
य ऋष्वः श्रावयत्सखा विश्वेत्स वेद जनिमा पुरुष्टुतः । तं विश्वे मानुषा युगेन्द्रं हवन्ते तविषं यतस्रुचः ॥
yá ṛṣváḥ śrāváyat-sakhā víśvet sá veda jánimā puruṣṭutáḥ | táṃ víśve mā́nuṣā yugéndraṃ havante tavíṣaṃ yatásrucaḥ ||
যি ঋষ্ব—উচ্চ, শ্ৰাৱয়ৎ-সখা—শ্ৰৱণ বৃদ্ধি কৰোৱা সখা, বহুল-প্ৰশংসিত—সেইয়ে সকলো জন্ম-উৎপত্তি জানে। তাকেই—ইন্দ্ৰক—সকলো মানৱ-যুগে আহ্বান কৰে; যজ্ঞত স্ৰুচি (লাডল) সঠিক নিয়ন্ত্ৰণে ধৰা যজমানসকলে তেওঁৰ তীব্ৰ শক্তিক আহ্বান কৰে।
