Sukta 8.19
तव क्रत्वा सनेयं तव रातिभिरग्ने तव प्रशस्तिभिः । त्वामिदाहुः प्रमतिं वसो ममाग्ने हर्षस्व दातवे ॥
táva krátvā saneyam táva rātíbhiḥ agne táva práśastibhiḥ | tvā́m íd āhuḥ prámatim vaso máma agne hárṣasva dā́tave ||
হে অগ্নি, তোমাৰ ক্রতু—উজ্জ্বল কৰ্ম-ইচ্ছাৰ দ্বাৰা মই জয় লাভ কৰোঁ; তোমাৰ ৰাতি (দান) আৰু তোমাৰ প্ৰশস্তি (প্ৰশংসা)-সমূহৰ দ্বাৰাও। হে বসু, লোকসকলে তোমাকেই ‘প্ৰমতি’—অগ্ৰ-চিন্তা আৰু সঠিক পৰামৰ্শ—বুলি কয়; হে অগ্নি, মোক দান কৰিবলৈ আনন্দিত হোৱা।
