उदु तिष्ठ सवितः श्रुध्यस्य हिरण्यपाणे प्रभृतावृतस्य । व्युर्वीं पृथ्वीममतिं सृजान आ नृभ्यो मर्तभोजनं सुवानः ॥

Transliteration

údu tiṣṭha savitaḥ śrudhy asyá hiraṇya-pāṇe prá-bhṛtāv ṛtásya | vy ùrvī́ṃ pṛthvī́m amátiṃ sṛjān á ā́ nṛ́bhyo marta-bhójanam suvān áḥ ||

Translation

হে সৱিতৃ, উঠা; এই কথা শুনা—হে সোনালী-হাতযুক্ত—ঋতৰ (সত্য-নিয়মৰ) অগ্ৰগতি-ধাৰণত। তুমি বিস্তৃত পৃথিৱী আৰু সীমাহীন মতি মুকলি কৰি, নৰসকললৈ মৰ্ত্য-যাত্ৰা পোষণ কৰা ভোজন (পুষ্টি) প্ৰসৱ কৰিছা।
