अव स्पृधि पितरं योधि विद्वान्पुत्रो यस्ते सहसः सून ऊहे । कदा चिकित्वो अभि चक्षसे नोऽग्ने कदाँ ऋतचिद्यातयासे ॥
áva spṛdhi pitáraṃ yódhi vidvā́n putró yás te sahasaḥ sū́no ūhé | kadā́ cikitvo abhí cakṣase no 'gne kadā́ṃ ṛtácid yātayāse ||
হে অগ্নি, সহসৰ সুনু, গুপ্ত কৰ্মত তুমি জ্ঞানী পুত্ৰ—পিতৃৰ বিৰুদ্ধে অৱনম্ৰ হৈ স্পৰ্ধা কৰা, যুদ্ধ কৰা। হে বিচক্ষণ, কেতিয়া তুমি দৃষ্টিৰে আমালৈ চোৱা? কেতিয়া তুমি ঋতৰ দ্বাৰাইয়ো আমাৰ পথ আগবঢ়াই দিবা?
