Sukta 3.1
अवर्धयन्त्सुभगं सप्त यह्वीः श्वेतं जज्ञानमरुषं महित्वा । शिशुं न जातमभ्यारुरश्वा देवासो अग्निं जनिमन्वपुष्यन् ॥
ávaṛdhayants subhágaṃ saptá yahvī́ḥ śvetáṃ jajñānám aruṣáṃ mahitvā́ | śíśuṃ na jātám abhy ā́rur aśvā́ devā́so agním jániman vapuṣyan ||
সপ্ত যহ্বী—সাত মহাশক্তিধাৰা—সুভগক বৃদ্ধি কৰিলে; জন্মত শ্বেত, মহিমাত অৰুণ। যেন অশ্বসকল নবজাত শিশুৰ ওচৰলৈ দৌৰি আহে, তেনেকৈ দেৱসকলে অগ্নিৰ ওচৰলৈ ত্বৰিত হ’ল; তেওঁৰ জননক পোষণ কৰি দীপ্ত ৰূপ বৃদ্ধি কৰিলে।
