अहंसेतुंकरिष्यामिविस्तीर्णेवरुणालये ।पितुस्सामर्थ्यमास्थायतत्त्वमहामहोदधिः ।।6.22.47।।
ahaṃ setuṃ kariṣyāmi vistīrṇe varuṇālaye | pituḥ sāmarthyam āsthāya tattvam āha mahodadhiḥ ||
“বৰুণদেৱৰ বিস্তীৰ্ণ নিবাসসদৃশ এই মহাসাগৰৰ ওপৰে মই সেতু নিৰ্মাণ কৰিম; পিতৃৰ সামৰ্থ্য আশ্ৰয় কৰি”—এইদৰে নলে নিজৰ সত্য ক্ষমতা প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে।
