tam uvāca tato rāmaḥ parihāsa-samanvitam | gavāṁ sahasram apy ekaṁ na nu viśrāṇitaṁ mayā || parikṣipasi daṇḍena yāvat tāvat avāpsyasi |

Translation

তাৰ পাছত ৰামে পৰিহাসমিশ্ৰিত স্বৰে ক’লে— “মই এতিয়ালৈকে এক হাজাৰ গাইও দান দিয়া নাই। তই দণ্ডখন নিক্ষেপ কৰ; যিমান দূৰ সি যায়, সিমান পৰিসৰলৈ তোক গাই লাভ হ’ব।”
