Kausalya’s Benedictions and Protective Rites for Rama

Illustrious Kausalya embraced Rama, bending his head down and smelt his forehead. And then said O Rama! go in peace and come back after accomplishing the objective.
Blessing without possession: love expresses itself as a prayer for the other’s righteous success, even when separation is painful.
In the farewell moment, Kausalyā physically embraces Rāma and offers a final benediction for his exile.
Tenderness joined with renunciation—letting Rāma follow dharma while still offering protection through love and words.
