The Disfigurement of Śūrpaṇakhā
सा विरूपा महाघोरा राक्षसी शोणितोक्षिता।ननाद विविधान्नादान्यथा प्रावृषि तोयदः।।।।
sā virūpā mahāghorā rākṣasī śoṇitokṣitā |
nanāda vividhān nādān yathā prāvṛṣi toyadaḥ ||
সেই বিৰূপা, অতি ভয়ংকৰ ৰাক্ষসীয়ে তেজত লুতুৰি-পুতুৰি হৈ বৰ্ষাকালৰ মেঘৰ দৰে নানা ধৰণৰ গৰ্জন কৰি চিঞৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
The dreadful demoness who thus was disfigured. Drenched in blood, she thundered like a cloud in rainy season.
