Adhyaya 75 — The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu
तद्गृह्यतां मया दत्ता तुभ्यं कन्या नराधिप ।
प्रियेत्यामन्त्रिता चेयं विचारं कुरुषे कथम् ॥
tad gṛhyatāṃ mayā dattā tubhyaṃ kanyā narādhipa / priyety āmantritā ceyaṃ vicāraṃ kuruṣe katham
সেয়ে তাক গ্ৰহণ কৰা; হে ৰাজন, মই এই কন্যাক তোমাক দান কৰিলোঁ। আৰু তাক ‘প্ৰিয়ে’ বুলি সম্বোধন কৰা হৈছে (সেও সম্মতি দিছে)। তেন্তে তুমি এতিয়াও কিয় দ্বিধা কৰি ভাবি আছা?

Dharma requires decisive action once legitimate authority, proper gifting (kanyā-dāna), and relational acceptance are established; excessive hesitation becomes a failure of responsibility.
Ethical-narrative (vaṃśānucarita). It illustrates household dharma (gṛhastha-āśrama) through story rather than prescriptive code.
‘Acceptance’ (grahaṇa) is a liminal act: once performed in the right ritual-social matrix, it transforms status. The verse underscores the power of sanctioned speech-acts and gifts in shaping reality.
