तद्दोयतां द्विजसुतौ यदि वां प्रणयो मयि ।
एतावता अहं दैवेन वञ्चितोऽस्मि दुरात्मना ॥
tad doyatāṃ dvija-sutau yadi vāṃ praṇayo mayi |
etāvatāhaṃ daivena vañcito 'smi durātmanā ||
‘হে ব্ৰাহ্মণপুত্ৰদ্বয়, যদি তোমালোকৰ মোৰ প্ৰতি স্নেহ থাকে, তেন্তে সেইটোৱেই দিয়া। মই ইমানতেই দৈৱ—সেই নিৰ্দয় শক্তি—দ্বাৰা বঞ্চিত হ’লোঁ।’
