Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
ताः शोच्या या वियोगिन्यो न शोच्या या मृताः सह ।
भर्त्रा वियोगस्त्वनया नानुभूतः कृतज्ञया ॥
tāḥ śocyā yā viyoginyo na śocyā yā mṛtāḥ saha |
bhartrā viyogas tv anayā nānubhūtaḥ kṛtajñayā ||
বিচ্ছেদত জীয়াই থকা নাৰীসকল কৰুণীয়; স্বামীৰ সৈতে একেলগে মৃত্যু হোৱা নাৰীসকল কৰুণীয় নহয়। কিয়নো এই কৃতজ্ঞ নাৰীয়ে স্বামী-বিচ্ছেদ ভোগ কৰা নাই।
