Droṇa’s Renewed Advance toward Yudhiṣṭhira; Fall of Satyajit and Allied Recoil (द्रोणस्य युधिष्ठिरप्रेप्सा—सत्यजितः पतनम्)

नैव स्वे न परे राजन्नाज्ञायन्त परस्परम्‌ | अनुमानेन संज्ञाभियद्धं तत्‌ समवर्तत,नरेश्वरर उस समय वहाँ आपसमें अपने-परायेकी पहचान नहीं हो पाती थी। केवल अनुमान अथवा नाम बतानेसे ही शत्रु-मित्रका विचार करके युद्ध हो रहा था

naiva sve na pare rājann ājñāyanta parasparam | anumānena saṃjñābhir yuddhaṃ tat samavartata ||

হে ৰাজন! সেই কোলাহলত ‘আপোন’ নে ‘পৰ’—পৰস্পৰে চিনিব নোৱাৰিলে। কেৱল অনুমান কৰি বা নাম মাতি মিত্ৰ-শত্ৰু স্থিৰ কৰি যুদ্ধ চলিল।
