Adhyāya 92: Irāvanta-śoka, punaḥ-pravṛttiḥ saṅgrāmasya
Arjuna’s grief and the battle’s renewed intensity
निवारय सुतान् द्यूतात् पाण्डवान् मा द्रुहेति च । सुहृदां हितकामानां ब्रुवतां तत् तदेव च
nivāraya sutān dyūtāt pāṇḍavān mā druheti ca | suhṛdāṃ hitakāmānāṃ bruvatāṃ tat tadeva ca ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে— “তোমাৰ পুত্ৰসকলক জুৱাৰ পৰা নিবাৰণ কৰা; পাণ্ডৱসকলৰ প্ৰতি দ্ৰোহ নকৰিবা।” তোমাৰ মঙ্গল কামনা কৰা সুহৃদসকলে বাৰে বাৰে একেই উপদেশ দিছিল। কিন্তু মৃত্যুসন্ন মানুহে যেন পথ্য ঔষধকো অৰুচিকৰ ভাবে, তেনেকৈ তুমি সেই হিতকৰ বাক্য শুনিবলৈও ইচ্ছা কৰা নাছিলা। সেয়ে শ্ৰেষ্ঠ বিদুৰে যি কৈছিল, ঠিক সেই পৰিণাম আজ তোমাৰ সন্মুখত উপস্থিত হৈছে।
