Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अर्द्धमानाश्च विबुधा ग्रहेण सुबलीयसा । शिवदत्तवरान् जष्नुरसुरेन्द्रान सुरा भूशम्
arddhamānāś ca vibudhā graheṇa subalīyasā | śivadattavarān jaṣṇur asurendrān surā bhūśam ||
বাসুদেৱে ক’লে—অতিশয় বলবান গ্ৰহে যেতিয়া দেৱতাসকলক উৎপীড়ন কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে, তেতিয়া দেৱতাসকল চাপত পৰিও শিৱৰ বৰপ্ৰাপ্ত অসুৰেন্দ্ৰসকলৰ ওপৰত প্ৰহাৰ কৰি তেওঁলোকক পৰাভূত কৰিলে; এইদৰে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত দীৰ্ঘকাল যুদ্ধ চলি থাকিল।
