ityete brahmaṇaḥ putrā mānasā viśrutā bhuvi bhartāraś ca mahābhāgā eṣāṃ vaṃśāḥ prakīrtitāḥ
Suta Goswami
It closes a creation-and-lineage section, grounding later Linga worship in a structured cosmos upheld by ordained progenitors—showing that Shiva’s worship (as Pati) is situated within a divinely ordered srishti.
Indirectly, it implies Shiva-tattva as Pati—the supreme regulator beyond genealogies—while Brahmā’s mind-born sons function as secondary sustainers within the manifested order.
No specific puja-vidhi or Pashupata Yoga technique is taught in this verse; it serves as a narrative transition from cosmological genealogy toward teachings where Shiva-upasana and liberation of the pashu are detailed.
