विश्वामित्र उवाच यतः प्रवृत्तिर्भूतानां यस्मिन् सर्वमिदं जगत् / स विष्णुः सर्वभूतात्मा तमाश्रित्य विमुच्यते
viśvāmitra uvāca yataḥ pravṛttirbhūtānāṃ yasmin sarvamidaṃ jagat / sa viṣṇuḥ sarvabhūtātmā tamāśritya vimucyate
বিশ্বামিত্ৰ ক’লে—যাৰ পৰা সকলো ভূতৰ প্ৰবৃত্তি আৰু উদ্ভৱ হয়, আৰু যাৰ ভিতৰত এই সমগ্ৰ জগত স্থিত—সেইজনেই বিষ্ণু, সৰ্বভূতৰ অন্তৰাত্মা। তেওঁৰ শৰণ ল’লে মুক্তি লাভ হয়।

The verse emphasizes āśraya (taking refuge) in Īśvara as a direct liberating orientation—supporting devotion (bhakti), one-pointed contemplation on the indwelling Lord, and surrender as a core sādhana aligned with Purāṇic Yoga.
By defining the Supreme as the universal inner Self and source of the cosmos, the verse supports the Kurma Purana’s non-sectarian synthesis: the highest Īśvara is one reality, praised through names such as Viṣṇu (and elsewhere, Śiva) without contradiction.
