Sukta 118
उग्रंपश्ये राष्ट्रभृत् किल्बिषाणि यदक्षवृत्तमनु दत्तं न एतत्। ऋणान्नो नर्णमेर्त्समानो यमस्य लोके अधिरज्जुरायत्
ugrámpaśye rā́ṣṭrabhṛt kilbíṣāṇi yád ákṣavṛttám ánu dattaṃ na etát | ṛṇā́n no nṛ́ṇam értsamāno yamásya lóke ádhi rajjúḥ ā́yat
O Ugrampaśyā, supporter of the realm: the offences—this which, as dice-practice, hath been given to follow upon us—he, seeking to reach men, from our debt, in Yama’s world, hath stretched the rope above (us).
হে উগ্ৰংপশ্যা, ৰাজ্য-ধাৰিণী! যি অপৰাধসমূহ—যি পাশা-খেলাৰ (অক্ষবৃত্ত) ফলস্বৰূপ আমাৰ ওপৰত অনুগামী হ’বলৈ দিয়া হৈছে—সেইটো এই। ঋণৰ পৰা মানুহক পোৱাবলৈ (ধৰি নিবলৈ) চেষ্টা কৰা সি যমৰ লোকত আমাৰ ওপৰত ৰজ্জু (দড়ি) টানি ধৰিলে।
