Atharva Veda 18.2.45: Kanda 18, Anuvaka 1, Sukta 2, Mantra 45

Sukta 2

अमा॑सि॒ मात्रां॒ स्वऽरगा॒मायु॑ष्मान् भूयासम्। यथाप॑रं॒ न मासा॑तै श॒ते श॒रत्सु॒ नो पु॒रा

amā́si mā́trāṃ svàr-agā́m ā́yuṣmān bhūyāsam | yáthā́paraṃ ná mā́sātai śaté śarátsu no purā́ ||

Month after month (I claim) the measured portion that goes to heaven: may I be life-possessed; that the later share be not diminished by months—(a life) of a hundred autumns for us, as of old.

মাহে মাহে স্বৰ্গগামী এই মাপা অংশ মই দাবী কৰোঁ; মই আয়ুষ্মান হওঁ। যাতে পাছৰ ভাগ মাহে মাহে কমি নাযায়—পুৰণি বিধানমতে আমাৰ বাবে শত শৰৎ (শ বছৰ) জীৱন।
