सा ब्रह्मज्यं देवपीयुं ब्रह्मगव्याऽदीयमाना मृत्योः पद्वीश आ द्यति

IAST Transliteration

sā́ brahmajyáṃ devapīyúṃ brahmagavyā́ ’dīyámānā mṛtyóḥ padvī́ṣa ā́ dyati

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

She—Brahman’s bow-string, the gods’ own cherished draught, the Brahman’s cow—when she is being taken away, drives (the taker) forth into the pathways of Death.

Translation

সা—ব্ৰহ্মজ্যা, দেৱসকলৰ প্ৰিয় পানীয়, ব্ৰাহ্মণৰ গাভী—যেতিয়া তাক কেঢ়ি নিবলৈ ধৰা হয়, তেতিয়া সি লোৱাজনক মৃত্যুৰ পথসমূহলৈ ঠেলি পঠায়।
