शुने क्रोष्ट्रे मा शरीराणि कर्तमलिक्लवेभ्यो गृध्रेभ्यो ये च कृष्णा अविष्यवः । मक्षिकास्ते पशुपते वयांसि ते विघसे मा विदन्त
śúne króṣṭre mā́ śarīrā́ṇi kártam aliklavébhyo gr̥dhrébhyo yé ca kr̥ṣṇā́ aviṣyávaḥ | mákṣikās te paśupate váyāṃsi te vigháse mā́ vidanta
Let not the dog, let not the jackal, rend our bodies; nor the clamorous ones, nor the vultures, nor those black and venomous (creatures). Thy flies, O Lord of cattle, thy birds—let them not find (us) for their eating.
কুকুৰে নে শিয়ালে আমাৰ দেহ ছিঙি নকাটক; নে চিঞৰি-চেঁচাই কৰা (পক্ষী/প্ৰাণী)বোৰে, নে গৃধ্ৰবোৰে, নে সেই ক’লা বিষধৰ (জন্তু)বোৰে। হে পশুপতে, তোমাৰ মাখিবোৰ, তোমাৰ পক্ষীবোৰ—ভক্ষণৰ বাবে আমাক নাপাওক।
