Sukta 2
मा नोऽभि स्रा मत्यं देवहेतिं मा नः क्रुधः पशुपते नमस्ते । अन्यत्रास्मद् दिव्यां शाखां वि धूनु
mā́ no ’bhí srāḥ matyáṃ devahétim mā́ naḥ krúdhaḥ paśupate námas te | anyátrāsmád divyā́ṃ śā́khāṃ ví dhūnu
Shoot not against us, against the mortal, thy god-sent missile; be not wroth with us, O Lord of cattle—homage to thee. Elsewhere than from us shake off the heavenly branch.
আমালৈ লক্ষ্য কৰি, এই মৰ্ত্যজনৰ ওপৰত, দেৱপ্ৰেৰিত তোমাৰ ক্ষেপণাস্ত্ৰ নিক্ষেপ নকৰিবা। হে পশুপতি, আমাৰ ওপৰত ক্ৰোধ নকৰিবা—তোমাক নমস্কাৰ। আমাৰ পৰা আঁতৰি, দিৱ্য শাখাখন কঁপাই (ঝাৰি) পেলোৱা।
