FAQs

It teaches the efficacy of dikpāla-snāna (a protective, direction-guardian bath/rite) and abhiṣeka-style consecration as a practical war-opening observance intended to secure jaya (victory).

It links ritual procedure (snāna/abhiṣeka and directional protection) to statecraft and warfare outcomes, showing how the Agni Purana integrates dharma, ritual technology, and pragmatic results like success in conflict.

By invoking the Dikpālas and undergoing consecratory purification, the practitioner seeks protective merit, removal of obstacles, and auspicious alignment—framing victory as supported by ritual purity and divine guardianship.
