বৈৰূপ্য-নিবাৰণ-সম্পৰ্কীয় ‘অষ্টক’ নিত্য প্ৰয়োগ কৰিলে শ্ৰী-সমৃদ্ধি লাভ হয়। ‘সপ্তাষ্টক’ প্ৰয়োগ কৰিলে সকলো কামনা সিদ্ধ হয়। “শপন্ত্বহন …” এই মন্ত্ৰৰ জপ আৰু হোমে শত্রুনাশ হয়। “ইন্দ্ৰ বনং বনিক্ …”, “অগ্নে সৌভাগ্য …” আৰু “ত্বমুত্তমম্ …” আদি পাঠো আছে; ইয়াৰ ভিতৰত শেষোক্তটো যশ আৰু বুদ্ধি বৃদ্ধি কৰে বুলি কোৱা হৈছে।
