Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Raṇa-jaya Pañca-cakra Daśakara Maṇḍala and Graha-pūjā order (Ravi-centered)","lookup_keywords":["pañcacakra daśakara","raṇādau pūjā jaya","graha-pūjā","ravi madhye","soma pūrvādya"],"quick_summary":"For battle-success, worship a fivefold chakra with ten divisions at the outset; for planetary rites, place the Sun in the center and arrange Moon and remaining grahas from the east in prescribed order."}

Weapon Type: Chakra as mandalic war-rite symbol (not necessarily a thrown weapon here).

Concept: Action is strengthened by cosmic alignment: battle-rites and graha-ordering integrate human endeavor with planetary powers, centering on the Sun as organizer.

Application: Before engagement, establish the fivefold ten-spoked chakra and perform concise offerings; for graha-pūjā, fix Ravi at center and place Soma onward from the east consistently to avoid ritual ‘directional error’ (dik-doṣa).

FAQs

It teaches a practical graha-puja layout: a chakra/mandala with the Sun placed centrally and the Moon and other grahas arranged beginning from the eastern direction, used as a victory-rite when performed before battle.

It combines applied ritual design (chakra/mandala construction) with Jyotisha-linked planetary worship and even a martial context (pre-battle rites), showing how the text integrates religion, cosmology, and statecraft/warfare practices.

By ritually honoring the grahas in a prescribed mandala—especially establishing Ravi at the center—the practitioner seeks harmonization with cosmic forces, removal of obstacles, and attainment of auspicious outcomes such as protection and victory.
