स महीṃ सकलां देवी सपल्लववनद्रुमाम् ॥ दातुमिच्छन्स चोवाच वसिष्ठं तपसां निधिम् ॥
sa mahīṃ sakalāṃ devī sapallava-vanadrumām || dātum icchan sa covāca vasiṣṭhaṃ tapasāṃ nidhim ||
ولمّا أراد أن يهب الأرض كلَّها، أيتها الإلهة، بما فيها من براعم وغابات وأشجار، توجّه بالكلام إلى فَسِشْتَهَ، كنزِ الزهد والتقشّف.
