न हास्यामिति वत्स त्वां मम वंशविवर्धनम् ॥ याच्यमानः प्रयत्नेन तत्र गन्तुं न चार्हति ॥

na hāsyāmīti vatsa tvāṃ mama vaṃśavivardhanam || yācyamānaḥ prayatnena tatra gantuṃ na cārhati ||

«لن أتخلى عنك يا بُنيّ—يا مُنمّي نسلي.» وحتى إن تُوسِّل إليه بإلحاحٍ واجتهاد، فليس أهلاً لأن يذهب إلى هناك.
