श्राद्धे तु प्रथमं तस्य दातव्यं मानुषेषु वा ॥ सह तेनैव भोक्तव्यं पितृपिण्डविसर्जितम्

في طقس الشرادها، ينبغي أن يُعطى أولاً له (أغني/المتلقي المعيَّن)، أو بين الناس (أي عبر القائمين بالشعيرة)؛ والجزء المتصل بقرص القربان (piṇḍa) المُطلَق للبتْرِ يجب أن يُؤكل مع تلك التقدمة.
