सा रम्या च सुशस्ता च जन्मभूमिस्तथा मम ॥ शृणु देवि यथा स्तौमि मथुरां पापहारिणीम्
sā ramyā ca suśastā ca janmabhūmis tathā mama || śṛṇu devi yathā staumi mathurāṃ pāpahāriṇīm
إنها بهيّةٌ محبوبةٌ وممدوحةٌ غايةَ المدح؛ بل هي حقًّا أرضُ مولدي. فاسمعي أيتها الإلهةُ وأنا أُثني على ماثورا، مُزيلَةِ الإثم والوزر.
