सत्येन सिद्धिं प्राप्ता हि ऋषयो ब्रह्मवादिनः ॥ सत्येन दीयते कन्या सत्यं जल्पन्ति ब्राह्मणाः ॥

satyena siddhiṃ prāptā hi ṛṣayo brahmavādinaḥ || satyena dīyate kanyā satyaṃ jalpanti brāhmaṇāḥ ||

«بالصدق نالَ الرِّشيّون (ṛṣi)، الناطقون بالبرهمن، تمامَ الظَّفَر. وبالصدق تُزوَّجُ الفتاة، وبالصدق يتكلّم البراهمة (brāhmaṇa).»
