Varaha Purana 128.15 — Adhyaya 128, Shloka 15

Rites for the comb, collyrium, and mirror; initiations for the four social orders; and the Gaṇāntikā vow/insignia

सर्वं तत्र समानीय यन्मया पूर्वभाषितम् ॥ दशहस्तां ततः कृत्वा वेदिं वेदविचेतितः

sarvaṃ tatra samānīya yanmayā pūrva-bhāṣitam || daśa-hastāṃ tataḥ kṛtvā vediṃ veda-vicetitaḥ

بعد أن يجمع هناك كلَّ ما سبق أن قلته، ينبغي لِمَن هو بصيرٌ بالويدا أن يُنشئ بعد ذلك «فِدي»؛ أي مذبحًا شعائريًّا، بمقدار عشرة «هَسْتَا» في القياس.
