तत्र स्नात्वा महादेवि यज्ञकोटिफलं लभेत् । तस्यैव कल्पनामानि शृणु ते कथयाम्यहम्
tatra snātvā mahādevi yajñakoṭiphalaṃ labhet | tasyaiva kalpanāmāni śṛṇu te kathayāmyaham
يا مهاديفي، من اغتسل هناك نال ثمرة كوṭي من اليَجْنَات (عشرة ملايين من القرابين). والآن فاسمعي؛ سأقصّ عليك الأسماء التي يُعرَف بها ذلك التيـرث نفسه في الكَلْبَات المختلفة.
