Īśvara (Śiva) (continued narration)
Tirtha: Dhanadeśvara-liṅga (Kubera-kṛta) near Rāhuliṅga, within Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: temple
Listener: Śaunaka and other ṛṣis (standard Naimiṣāraṇya frame)
Scene: A coastal sacred grove of Prabhāsa with two liṅgas—Rāhuliṅga nearby and a gleaming, jewel-like liṅga fashioned by Kubera; Kubera performs severe tapas with attendants holding lamps and offerings; the sea-breeze and temple flags frame the sanctum.
Tapas and devotion centered on a Śiva-Liṅga transform destiny—spiritual merit can culminate even in worldly stewardship like wealth and guardianship.
A Liṅga near Rāhuliṅga in Prabhāsa Kṣetra, associated with Kubera (Dhanada).
Tapas (austerity) is highlighted as the means by which Kubera attained his station.
