وهكذا، في «سكاندا مهابورانا»، في السَّمهيتا ذات الواحد والثمانين ألف بيت، في القسم السابع «برابهاسا خَنْدَة»، ضمن الجزء الأول «ماهَاتْمْيَا برابهاسَكْشِتْرَة»، يَختتم الفصل المعنون «وصف عظمة ماركانديشڤارا»، وهو الفصل 361.
