Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Āśāpūra / Āśāpūraka (Vighnarāja)
Type: temple
Listener: Devī
Scene: Śiva instructs Devī about a pristine Vighnarāja shrine at Āśāpūra; Gaṇeśa appears with moon-like ornamentation, seated, blessing devotees; a compass-like hint of the northwest direction from Śaśibhūṣaṇa is shown via landscape orientation.
Approaching Vighnarāja with reverence removes impediments and aligns human aspiration with divine grace.
Āśāpūra—associated with Vighnarāja (Gaṇeśa), situated to the north-west of Śaśibhūṣaṇa within the Prabhāsa sacred landscape.
A pilgrimage instruction: “one should go” (gacchet) to the Āśāpūra shrine of Vighnarāja for obstacle-removal and wish-fulfillment.
