gaṃdhadānena gaṃdhāptiḥ saubhāgyaṃ puṣpadānataḥ | dhūpadānena rājyāptirdīptirdīpapradānataḥ

بإهداء الطِّيب تُنال الرائحة الطيبة (الرِّقّة وحُسن السيرة)؛ وبإهداء الزهور تُنال السعادة والبركة. وبإهداء البخور تُنال السيادة، وبإهداء المصابيح تُنال الإشراقة والنور.
