एवं तलस्वामिचरित्रमुत्तमं श्रुतं पुरा सिद्धमहर्षिसंघैः । श्रुत्वा प्रभावं तलदेवसन्निधौ प्राप्नोति सर्वं मनसा यदीप्सितम्
evaṃ talasvāmicaritramuttamaṃ śrutaṃ purā siddhamaharṣisaṃghaiḥ | śrutvā prabhāvaṃ taladevasannidhau prāpnoti sarvaṃ manasā yadīpsitam
وهكذا سُمِعَت قديمًا هذه السيرة السامية لتالاسفامي على ألسنة جماعاتٍ من المها رِشيّين الكاملين. ومَن سمع بقدرته في حضرة إله تالا نال كل ما يتمنّاه قلبه.

Śravaṇa of a tīrtha’s māhātmya is itself a potent sādhana, especially when done near the deity’s presence.
