ولأنها ترفع الإثم الناشئ عن المخالطة غير اللائقة ذُكرت باسم «هَرِينِي» (Hariṇī). وهذه النهر موفور بالمياه المقدّسة؛ وبالاغتماس فيه سبعة أيام تتحقق الطهارة.
