caturthyāṃ pūjitaḥ samyaksugaṃdhaiḥ phalamodakaiḥ dadāti vāṃchitānkāmāṃstrailokye vijayī bhavet

إذا عُبِدَ عبادةً تامّة في اليوم القمري الرابع (تشاتورثي) بقرابين طيّبة الرائحة، وبالثمار وحلوى «مودَكا»، منحَ المرغوبات؛ ويغدو العابدُ ظافراً في العوالم الثلاثة.
