Sūta (deduced); concluding with Viṣṇu about to speak
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and the ṛṣis of Naimiṣāraṇya (typical frame)
Scene: Viṣṇu, radiant like a cluster of suns, approaches the embodied ‘fire of wrath’ after consoling the frightened devas; the atmosphere is charged with heat, light, and divine urgency.
Divine protection responds to sincere refuge; the Supreme acts to pacify destructive anger and re-establish dharmic harmony.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, whose māhātmya portrays the sacred land as a stage for divine intervention and cosmic reconciliation.
No explicit ritual; the theme is divine consolation and intervention following śaraṇāgati.
