unnataṃ nāma yalloke vikhyātaṃ surasundari | tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā vilokya nagaraṃ śivaḥ | āhūya brāhmaṇānsarvānuvācānatakandharaḥ
«يا حسناءَ الآلهة، إن تلك المدينة مشهورةٌ في العالم باسم أُنَّتَة (Uṇṇata).» ثم إن شيفا، وقد ابتهج قلبه حين رأى المدينة، دعا جميع البراهمة وخاطبهم وهو مطأطئ العنق تواضعًا.
Narrator (introducing Śiva’s speech)
Tirtha: Uṇṇata (city) and Uṇṇata-Liṅga precinct
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brāhmaṇas (summoned assembly)
Scene: Śiva, pleased, surveys the newly built city; he turns to a goddess (addressed as surasundarī) and then summons brāhmaṇas, bowing his neck in humility as he speaks.
Even the Lord models humility and dharma—honoring the brāhmaṇas and sanctifying a place through reverent conduct.
Uṇṇata-nagara within Prabhāsa Kṣetra, introduced as a renowned sacred city.
No specific rite; the emphasis is on Śiva’s dharmic act of summoning and addressing brāhmaṇas.
