Transliteration

nityamārādhayāmāsa sāṃbo jāṃbavatīsutaḥ | taponiṣṭhaṃ ca taṃ dṛṣṭvā viṣṇuḥ kāruṇiko mahān

Translation

كان سامبا ابن جامبَفَتي يعبد إله الشمس كلَّ يوم. فلمّا رأى فيشنو العظيم الرحيم ثباته في التقشّف والزهد، التفت إليه بعنايته.
