Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Maheśvarī/Umā)
Scene: Śiva, calm and majestic, invites Devī to ask for a boon; his hand gesture conveys assurance (abhaya/vara), while Devī’s sorrow begins to lift.
Devotional praise (stotra) is spiritually efficacious; the Lord responds by removing grief and granting worthy desires.
The boon is framed within Prabhāsa-kṣetra māhātmya, implying that the sacred setting supports divine favor.
Recitation of the hymn is implied as the means (“stavenānena”) by which the boon is obtained.
