अष्टोत्तरशतैर्नाम्नां सम्यक्छ्रद्धासमन्वितः । शृणु तानि महादेवि शुचिर्भूत्वा समाहितः
aṣṭottaraśatairnāmnāṃ samyakchraddhāsamanvitaḥ | śṛṇu tāni mahādevi śucirbhūtvā samāhitaḥ
متحلّيًا بإيمانٍ قويم، (يُثني على الشمس) بمئةٍ وثمانية أسماء على وجهٍ تامّ. فاسمعي تلك الأسماء، يا مها ديفي، بعد أن تتطهّري وتجمعي قلبك بخشوع.
